Terms of use

Last updated 21 October 2026

These terms are between you and Aditya Mohan Ghatol (a sole proprietorship), trading as Base to Apex. By using the website or the app, you agree to them. Institutes also agree to the Terms for institutes.

1. What Base to Apex is

Software that institutes and teachers use to run their classes, and a place where families can find classes and follow a student's progress. Each institute is an independent business: it decides what it teaches, its fees and its rules, and it's responsible for its classes. We aren't a party to the arrangement between a family and an institute.

2. Your account

  • You sign in with your mobile number or email. Keep access to them to yourself; you're responsible for what's done with your account.
  • You must be 18 or older to have an account. A student under 18 uses Base to Apex through a parent or guardian's account.
  • The details you give must be true, and you add someone else's details only with their consent - a parent's for anyone under 18.

3. Payments

  • Parents and students never pay Base to Apex for using it.
  • Fees paid in the app go to the institute, through our payment partner Cashfree Payments, and are subject to the institute's own fee and refund terms. You get a receipt for each payment.
  • Payments are processed by Cashfree under its own terms; we never see your card, UPI or bank details. See refunds and cancellations.

4. Reviews, messages and content

  • Reviews and messages must be honest, about your own experience, and respectful. No abuse, hate, false claims or anyone's private details.
  • You keep what you write and allow us to show it on Base to Apex. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
  • Content written for students is checked for anything unsuitable for children, and may be held back until it's reviewed.

5. Using it fairly

Don't misuse Base to Apex: no getting into accounts or data that aren't yours, no copying listings in bulk, no disrupting the service, and nothing unlawful. We may suspend an account that does.

6. Our responsibility

  • We work to keep Base to Apex available and accurate, but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. What institutes publish about themselves is theirs, and we don't check every detail.
  • We aren't responsible for an institute's classes, teaching or conduct. As far as the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Privacy

How we handle personal data is in our privacy policy.

8. Changes, law and disputes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when, and important changes are announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Pune have jurisdiction. Questions or complaints: contact us.
